I specialise in long arm quilting, quiltography and textile art. I also run classes for beginners to advanced in patchwork, quilting and textile arts.

I have thirty years of patchwork and quilting experience, and hold  City and Guilds certificates in Design and also in Creative Machine Embroidery (free motion not computer) and have completed one year of a two year City and Guild Certificate in Patchwork and Quilting, all studied in England. I am continuing the Patchwork and Quilting online.

I am a certified Quilt in a Day Teacher and teach quick and easy methods to make traditional style quilts with minimal fabric wastage. I also travel annually to America to attend retreats. So with my experience and continuing learning I have a myriad of ideas, both traditional and modern.

Originally trained as a Primary teacher, I soon specialised in Art and Craft teaching and then in Adult Education. I am happy to adapt my teaching to all levels of experience and apart from workshops in Design, Quilting and Textile Art at various locations, I teach small groups in my lakefront studio at Gorokan on the Central Coast of New South Wales.

Currently I am living in Vancouver Canada, probably until August 2012.
